Job Summary
Administer medications as ordered by medical providers while monitoring behavioral, medical, and physical symptoms related to dosage and drug use. Obtain vital signs, blood specimens, and urine samples to process point-of-care drug screens and maintain accurate client records in the EHR system. Prepare take-home medications, arrange temporary dosing for incoming and outgoing clients, and deliver medications to external facilities. Monitor medication administration closely to prevent diversion and report any incidents to internal authorities. Maintain accurate medication inventory records and order nursing-related supplies while adhering to all federal, state, and accrediting body regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed LPN or RN in state of employment
- CPR certification
- Ability to travel to assigned CMS sites
- Must have reliable transportation
