Job Summary
Create and maintain health files for individuals in community residences while developing nursing care plans for routine prophylactic and individualized services. Provide ongoing nursing assessments, review documentation from health care providers, and implement their recommendations within appropriate timeframes. Maintain an adequate supply of medication for use in school and day programs. This full-time role requires a valid NYS RN license, a clean MVR, and experience in developmental disabilities or community nursing, with a 40-hour work week at $35.00 per hour. Vanderheyden Hall Inc. operates under the National Sanctuary Model to promote safety and recovery through a trauma-informed community.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Valid NYS RN License
- Valid driver's license with a clean MVR
- Relevant experience in mental health, developmental disabilities, or community nursing
- Must be able to work a 40-hour work week
