Job Summary
Provide safe, age-appropriate patient care on the 55-bed Stroke Medical Unit while functioning as an advisor and resource for patients and families. Participate in the Nurse Resident Program through individual and group support, including daily clinical coaching with preceptors and assessments by a life coach for work-life balance. Engage in classes, present cases, and learn clinical skills within a supportive orientation team designed to build confidence for new graduates. Complete NCLEX requirements and progress through orientation based on specialty area, class requirements, and personal comfort level.
Required Qualifications
- Basic professional knowledge
- equivalent to a Bachelor's degree
- working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field
- RN Diploma with relevant experience
- Less than 1 year of experience
- Maryland Registered Nurse License
- American Heart Association CPR Certification
