Job Summary
Nurse Resident in Med Surg with Tele providing mentored, structured transition from student to licensed professional. Delivers coordinated nursing care for an assigned patient group within a unit, supervises nursing and ancillary staff, and adheres to CA Nurse Practice Act and ANA ethics and standards. Requires English proficiency and computer skills (MS Windows, Excel, Word). Utilizes standard office equipment and supports the mission and quality commitments of Palomar Health.
Required Qualifications
- Current CA RN License
- American Heart Association recognized BLS - Healthcare Provider
- Minimum Education: As required by certification and/or licensure
- Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or Masters Entry in a School of Nursing approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing
