Nurse Resident - Med/Surg - Nights - Bayfront Hospital - St Petersburg FL

Administer bedside patient care in an inpatient setting under preceptor supervision, assessing needs and developing individualized plans of care. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to prioritize care, delegate tasks, and communicate patient conditions while documenting all interventions and safety measures. Serve as a preceptor, charge nurse, and unit educator, mentoring new team members and students. Actively participate in the 12-month ANCC accredited Nurse Residency Program, attending monthly classes and simulations to transition into independent practice. Maintain compliance with hospital policies and attend required staff development meetings.
