Administer bedside patient care in an inpatient setting under preceptor supervision while assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and evaluating progress toward expected outcomes. Collaborate with medical staff and the interdisciplinary team to plan unit management, delegate tasks appropriately, and communicate patient condition updates. Document all care activities including medication administration, treatments, and patient safety measures in compliance with regulatory standards. Act as a role model, advocate for patients, and participate in the 12-month ANCC accredited residency program which includes structured training, preceptorship, and monthly classes. Maintain regular attendance and demonstrate competency in nursing skills and equipment use as defined by unit-specific requirements.
