Administer bedside patient care in an inpatient setting under preceptor supervision while assessing patient needs and developing individualized plans of care. Evaluate patient progress toward expected outcomes, coordinate care for defined groups, and delegate tasks appropriately to team members based on capabilities. Document patient care consistently, including assessments, medication administration, and treatments, while maintaining compliance with all hospital policies and regulatory standards. Act as a role model, advocate for patients, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to manage unit goals. Participate in the 12-month ANCC accredited Nurse Residency Program, attending monthly classes and simulations to transition into independent practice. Maintain regular attendance and punctuality consistent with organizational policies.
