Job Summary
Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care for pediatric patients using the nursing process and primary principles under licensed supervision. Collect comprehensive assessment data, formulate nursing diagnoses, and develop individualized plans of care that prescribe interventions to attain expected outcomes for the child, family, and situation. Implement and coordinate care delivery while evaluating progress and systematically assessing practice quality and effectiveness. Collaborate with families in ethical practice decisions and integrate research findings to promote health and safety. Requires graduation from an approved nursing school within 90 days, NCLEX authorization, and preference for pediatric experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an approved school of nursing within the previous 90 days
- First authorization to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX)
- Must practice at all times under the supervision of an individual licensed to practice professional nursing
- Associate degree in Nursing
- Pediatric nursing experience

- Bachelor's degree
- Less than 1 year acute care hospital experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Demonstrated clinical abilities
