Job Summary
Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care for NICU patients using the nursing process and primary principles under licensed supervision. Collect comprehensive assessment data, formulate nursing diagnoses, and develop individualized plans of care to attain expected outcomes for the child, family, and situation. Implement coordinated delivery of care strategies while evaluating progress and systematically assessing practice quality. Collaborate with families in ethical decision-making and integrate research findings to promote health and safety. Requires graduation from an approved nursing school with NCLEX authorization, pediatric experience preferred, and ability to handle physical demands including frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in Nursing
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Preferred)
- Proof of graduation from an approved school of nursing within the previous 90 days
- Proof of first authorization to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX)
- Pediatric nursing experience (Preferred)
