Job Summary
Conduct individualized, goal-directed nursing care for pediatric patients using the nursing process and primary care principles under licensed supervision. Collect comprehensive assessment data, formulate nursing diagnoses, and develop plans of care that prescribe interventions to attain expected outcomes. Evaluate progress toward outcomes and systematically assess the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice. Collaborate with families in the conduct of practice, integrate research findings, and contribute to the professional development of peers. Manage care while employing strategies to promote health and a safe environment, ensuring all actions are ethical and determined in the patient's best interest.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in Nursing
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Preferred)
- Proof of graduation from an approved school of nursing within the previous 90 days
- Proof of first authorization to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX)
- Pediatric nursing experience (Preferred)
