Nurse Resident (January 2027) 2 West/Inpatient Surgery, Full Time

Collects comprehensive patient data, formulates nursing diagnoses, and develops individualized plans of care for pediatric inpatients. Implements interventions to promote health and safety while evaluating progress toward expected outcomes. Collaborates with families to determine ethical nursing actions and integrates research findings into practice. Manages goal-directed care under supervision using the nursing process and primary care principles. Requires proof of nursing graduation and NCLEX authorization; begins January 25, 2027, for graduates in December 2026 or those with less than one year acute care experience.
