Job Summary
Nurse Resident in Cardiovascular Acute will join a mentored program to transition from student to professional nurse. Responsible for delivering coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group within the unit, and for the day-to-day management and supervision of related clinical activities. Supervises and directs activities of various levels of nursing and ancillary personnel, using professional judgment. Must understand and adhere to the California Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards. Proficiency in English and standard office/computer skills (MS Office). Mentored residency starts August 10, 2026 with a focus on clinical development, patient care, and supportive supervision within Palomar Health. Preferred education includes BSN or MSN Entry level, with 0-6 months of experience; current CA RN license and BLS; equal opportunity employer.
