Job Summary
Independent contractor role for Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to perform general medical disability examinations for Veterans. Responsibilities include reviewing medical and military records, gathering and synthesizing clinical evidence, conducting diagnostic testing, interviewing Veterans, performing face-to-face examinations, and developing medical opinions regarding the likelihood that a Veteran's condition is related to military service. Per diem opportunities with supervising physician support, malpractice insurance, upfront training, and a streamlined workflow to ensure timely report submission.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Active and unrestricted NP/PA license in the state of examinations
- APRN/NP/PA license in the state requested
