Job Summary
Independent-contractor role performing general medical disability examinations for Veterans. Responsibilities include reviewing medical and military records, gathering and synthesizing clinical evidence, conducting diagnostic testing as required, interviewing Veterans, performing face-to-face examinations, and developing medical opinions regarding the likelihood that a Veteran's condition is related to military service. Work is performed within a per-diem framework with supervising physician support, malpractice insurance provided, upfront training, and timely report submission (24-48 hours after exams). Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing (Required)
- Active and unrestricted NP/PA license in the state of examinations (Required)
