Job Summary
Independent contractor role for Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to perform general medical disability examinations for Veterans. Responsibilities include reviewing medical and military records, gathering and synthesizing clinical evidence, conducting diagnostic testing as required, interviewing Veterans, performing face-to-face examinations, and developing medical opinions regarding the likelihood that a Veteran's condition is related to military service. Per diem opportunities available with supervising physician support and malpractice insurance; flexible scheduling and streamlined payments. Requires Master's Degree in Nursing and active state license (APRN/NP or PA).
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing (Required)
- Active and unrestricted license in the state where examinations are performed
- APRN, NP, or PA license in the state requested (Required)
