Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive gynecologic evaluations, wellness visits, and routine checkups, including physical exams, diagnosing conditions, and developing individualized treatment plans. Manage patients experiencing perimenopause and menopause symptoms by providing hormone replacement therapy recommendations and ongoing care. Perform and interpret ultrasounds while prescribing medications and delivering weight loss consultations. Educate patients on preventive health, lifestyle modifications, and long-term wellness strategies. Maintain detailed documentation using eClinicalWorks EMR and collaborate closely with physicians to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a full-time, on-site role in Houston.
Required Qualifications
- Strong patient care skills
- Experience in women's health
- Proficiency in patient education, health promotion, and lifestyle counseling
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Strong attention to detail
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or equivalent graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Previous experience in obstetrics and gynecology or a related women's health specialty
- Experience with eClinicalWorks
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience caring for patients in perimenopause and menopause
- Experience with hormone replacement therapy and ultrasound interpretation
