Job Summary
Outpatient Nurse Practitioner - Women's Health sought to provide well-woman and gynecologic care in a clinic setting. Responsibilities include performing patient examinations, developing and implementing care plans, treating minor illnesses and injuries within scope, ordering non-invasive diagnostics (lab, x-ray), collaborating with supervising physicians, initiating referrals, and prescribing medications within scope. The role focuses on comprehensive gynecologic care (no obstetrics, labor/delivery, or hospital call). Strong patient communication and education, and adherence to practice protocols are essential. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- National certification ANCC
- Current state licensure as Nurse Practitioner and RN
- Maintains current CPR (BLS) certification
- Active Mid-level Practitioner Controlled Substance License and DEA License may be required based on prescriptive authority
