Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner provides professional nursing care to patients, coordinates with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery, assists physicians with clinical procedures, performs telephone triage, and participates in patient teaching. Supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, clerical assistants, medical assistants, and other non-licensed personnel. Requires ability to move and lift patients, work in a medical office environment, and use computer systems; requires full vaccination. Typical duties include direct and/or telephone patient contact, collaboration with care team, and ongoing patient education.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Nurse Practitioner licensed to practice in Connecticut with current registration and in good standing
