Job Summary
Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans by reviewing electronic medical records via a secure web portal and accurately documenting exam findings to complete required VA forms. Provide medical opinions based on assessment findings while maintaining a professional and empathetic demeanor during interactions. This full-time, Monday-Friday role (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM) includes a caseload of 3-5 Veterans daily with no on-call duties or treatment responsibilities. The position supports the Department of Veterans Affairs' disability benefits process, offering a structured schedule for compassionate providers dedicated to serving the Veteran community.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation
