Job Summary
Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans by reviewing electronic medical records via a secure web portal and accurately documenting exam findings to complete required VA forms. Provide medical opinions based on assessment data without treatment or prescribing medication responsibilities. Work full-time Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with a caseload of 3-5 Veterans daily, utilizing provided equipment for documentation. Maintain a professional demeanor while supporting the Veteran community in this structured role focused on disability determinations.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation
