Job Summary
Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans by reviewing electronic medical records via a secure web portal and accurately documenting exam findings to complete required VA forms. Provide medical opinions based on assessment data while maintaining a professional demeanor. This full-time role includes a Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with a caseload of 3-5 veterans daily, no on-call duties, and no treatment or prescribing responsibilities. The position supports the Department of Veterans Affairs' disability benefits process.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation
