Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner needed for Walk In Care team at MaineHealth Waldo Hospital in Belfast, ME. 32 hours per week caring for patients of all ages with minor medical issues and injuries on a walk-in basis. Providers work collaboratively with other Walk In Care team members and Primary Care Providers in an embedded facility within the Waldo campus. The position offers a competitive compensation package with a sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and CME expense reimbursement. Requires Bachelor’s degree and NP program graduation, Maine NP license, and DEA; ACLS/PALS preferred; 2 years of NP experience required. The role emphasizes fast-paced, patient-centered care within a team setting and contributes to a broader MaineHealth system.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Graduate of an accredited certified Nurse Practitioner's program
- Maine NP License and DEA
- ACLS and PALS preferred
- Experience in emergency medicine, urgent care/walk-in care or primary care is preferred
- 2 years' experience as an NP is required
