Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner sought for Walk In Care at MaineHealth Waldo Hospital in Belfast, ME. 32-hour/week role caring for patients of all ages with minor medical issues and injuries on a walk-in basis. Collaborates with Walk in care team members and Primary Care Providers in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment embedded in the Primary Care office on the Waldo campus. Offers competitive compensation with sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, CME expense reimbursement, plus comprehensive benefits. Requires Bachelor’s degree, NP program graduate, Maine NP license and DEA; ACLS/PALS preferred; 2 years NP experience required. MaineHealth is not-for-profit with a broad network across Maine and NH.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Graduate of an accredited certified Nurse Practitioner's program
- Maine NP License and DEA
- ACLS and PALS preferred
- Experience in emergency medicine, urgent care/walk-in care or primary care is preferred
- 2 years' experience as an NP is required
