Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner to join Walk In Care team at MaineHealth Waldo Hospital in Belfast, ME. 32-hour-per-week role providing care to patients of all ages with minor medical issues on a walk-in basis. Collaborates with Walk In Care and Primary Care teams in an embedded facility within the Waldo campus. Offers include competitive compensation with sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and CME expense reimbursement. Requires a Maine NP license and active DEA; ACLS/PALS preferred; 2 years of NP experience required. Requires collaboration in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment with emergency/urgent and primary care experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Graduate of an accredited certified Nurse Practitioner's program
- Maine NP License
- DEA
- ACLS and PALS preferred
- Experience in emergency medicine, urgent care/walk-in care or primary care is preferred
- 2 years' experience as an NP is required
