Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner needed for Walk-In Care in Belfast, ME. Join a fast-paced Walk-In Care team embedded in a Primary Care office, providing care to patients of all ages with minor medical issues and injuries on a walk-in basis. Collaborate with Walk-In Care team members and Primary Care Providers; involvement in emergency/urgent/primary care settings. 32-hour per week schedule with competitive compensation, sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and CME reimbursement. Requires Bachelor's degree and Certified Nurse Practitioner program graduate, Maine NP license, and DEA; ACLS and PALS preferred. 2 years NP experience required. MaineHealth is a not-for-profit system serving communities in Maine and NH.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Graduate of an accredited certified Nurse Practitioner's program
- Maine NP License
- DEA license
- ACLS and PALS preferred
- Experience in emergency medicine, urgent care/walk-in care or primary care is preferred
- 2 years' experience as an NP is required
