Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner sought for Walk In Care at MaineHealth Waldo Hospital in Belfast, ME. The NP will provide patient-centered care to patients of all ages with minor medical issues in a fast-paced, walk-in setting, collaborating with Walk In Care team members and Primary Care Providers. Embedded in the Primary Care office on the Waldo campus, the role includes a 32-hour workweek with a competitive compensation package, sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and CME expense reimbursement. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients with acute conditions, managing care across age groups, and working within a patient-centered team to deliver timely, quality care.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Graduate of an accredited certified Nurse Practitioner's program
- Maine NP License and DEA
- ACLS and PALS preferred
- Experience in emergency medicine, urgent care/walk-in care or primary care is preferred
- 2 years' experience as an NP is required
