Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join the Walk In Care team at MaineHealth Waldo Hospital in Belfast, ME. The role is a 32-hour per week position caring for patients of all ages with minor medical issues on a walk-in basis. Work collaboratively with Walk In Care and Primary Care Providers in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment embedded in the Primary Care office on the Waldo campus. Offers include a sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, CME expense reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits. Requires a Bachelor's degree, NP program completion, Maine NP license and DEA; ACLS and PALS preferred. Minimum 2 years of NP experience required; emergency medicine/urgent care or primary care experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Graduate of an accredited certified Nurse Practitioner's program
- Maine NP License and DEA
- ACLS and PALS preferred
- 2 years' experience as an NP is required
