Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner for a Walk-In Care team at MaineHealth Waldo Hospital in Belfast, ME. Provides care to patients of all ages with minor medical issues in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Works collaboratively with Walk-In Care team members and Primary Care Providers within the facility embedded in the Primary Care office on the Waldo campus. 32-hour weekly position offering sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, CME expense reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities include treating patients with a range of conditions in urgent/walk-in care, working within a team, and maintaining licensure and certifications (Maine NP License and DEA) with ACLS/PALS preferred. Minimum 2 years NP experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Graduate of an accredited certified Nurse Practitioner's program
- Maine NP License and DEA
- ACLS and PALS preferred
- 2 years' experience as an NP is required
