Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner for Walk-In Care at MaineHealth Waldo Hospital in Belfast, ME. 32-hour-per-week NP role providing care to patients of all ages with minor medical issues in a fast-paced, patient-centered team. Collaborates with Walk-In Care team members and Primary Care Providers in a facility embedded within the Primary Care office. Offers competitive compensation with sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and CME expense reimbursement. Requires a Bachelor's degree, graduation from an NP program, Maine NP license, and DEA; ACLS/PALS preferred; 2 years of NP experience required. Responsibilities include treating a broad range of conditions in a walk-in setting and working within an integrated health system with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university; Graduate of an accredited certified Nurse Practitioner's program
- License/Certification: Maine NP License and DEA
- ACLS and PALS preferred
- Experience: 2 years' experience as an NP is required
- Experience: NP in emergency medicine, urgent care/walk-in care or primary care is preferred
