Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner to join MaineHealth's Walk-In Care team in Belfast, ME. Role involves providing high-quality NP care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment, collaborating with Walk-In Care team members and Primary Care Providers, and working at the Waldo campus embedded in the Primary Care office. The position is a 32-hour-per-week role with a sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, CME expense reimbursement, and a comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities include treating minor medical issues and injuries on a walk-in basis, delivering collaborative, team-based care, and maintaining licensure and certification requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university; graduate of an accredited certified Nurse Practitioner's program
- Maine NP License and DEA
- ACLS and PALS preferred
- 2 years' experience as an NP is required
- Experience in emergency medicine, urgent care/walk-in care or primary care is preferred
