Job Summary
Conduct patient-centered primary care, family planning, and abortion services including ultrasound, IUD insertion/removal, and medication abortion. Review medical histories, perform assessments, prescribe medications, and manage procedure-related complications or emergencies. Order and interpret lab tests, ensure accurate coding, and maintain thorough medical documentation. Respond to client inquiries and participate in patient follow-up and referral systems. Precept medical trainees and students while adhering to all regulatory standards and clinic protocols. Part-time role covering Wednesdays through Fridays with occasional Saturday coverage; starting pay between $54.84 and $58.07 hourly, higher for Virginia Autonomous Practitioners. Join the Virginia League for Planned Parenthood's Richmond East End clinic, supporting a national network dedicated to sexual and reproductive health and rights.
Required Qualifications
- Virginia APRN license - to include prescriptive authority and specialization in Family Medicine or Women's Health
- DEA license
- Virginia RN license
- current BLS certification
- experience with LARC including IUDs and implants
- experience with medication abortion
- experience with ultrasound
- experience with GAHT
- experience with primary care
