Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner role performing directed history and physical examinations, diagnostic/therapeutic procedures (life support, IV therapy, venipuncture, injections, immunizations, HIV/viral hepatitis management, PrEP, wound care, suture removal, dressings), and administrative duties (billing, medical records, referrals). Responsibilities include patient assessment, referrals to specialty care, liaison with collaborating physicians and staff, contributing to public health goals, and participating in departmental meetings and health education programs. Location: Richmond, IN, United States.
Required Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner license or eligible in the state of Indiana
- Direct patient care and clinical duties as described in the role
- Ability to perform history and physical examinations and a range of procedures as outlined (IV, venipuncture, injections, wound care, immunizations, etc.)
- Experience with documentation, referrals, and coordination with supervising physicians
- Billing documentation and collaboration with medical staff
