Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner for Emergency Medicine in Banner University Medical Center’s Emergency Department ( Tucson campuses ). Provides independent, physician-collaborative care across a broad ED patient population, including ordering labs and imaging, diagnosing and treating diseases, prescribing medications, and performing urgent/emergent procedures. Works in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with opportunities to rotate between the fast track and main ED. New graduates welcome; experienced practitioners encouraged to apply and participate in ongoing training/education. Must hold an Arizona NP license and board certification with DEA prescribing privileges; ACLS/BLS/PALS required (ATLS preferred). Full-time schedule with rotating shifts and relocation benefits offered.
Required Qualifications
- Current State of Arizona license
- Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- Current prescribing privileges, including a DEA license for controlled substance
- Current CPR, BLS, PALS, and ACLS
- ATLS preferred
- Emergency Medicine or Acute Care experience preferred
- New APP graduates will be considered
