Job Summary
Conduct routine wellness exams, developmental screenings, and immunizations for pediatric patients. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions while prescribing medications and therapies within scope. Educate families on child development, nutrition, and disease prevention, offering emotional support and guidance. Collaborate with pediatricians and specialists to ensure optimal outcomes. Maintain accurate medical records and participate in community outreach initiatives. No Saturday or holiday shifts; after-hours call is supported by nurse triage. Requires Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with CPNP/FNP certification and active APRN license.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN/DNP) with a specialization in Pediatrics
- Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with pediatric experience
- Active state RN and APRN license or eligibility for licensure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based, and patient-centered care
- No Saturday or holiday shifts
- No hospital rounds
- After-hours call is supported by a nurse triage service
