Job Summary
Conduct primary health care within a whānau-centred model, applying advanced clinical expertise and sound judgement to improve health outcomes for 2,007 enrolled patients. Deliver accessible care with a focus on equity, cultural safety, and reducing barriers to access while collaborating with nursing, coaching, and administrative teams. Work independently to provide practical solutions that support patients and whānau, leveraging cultural confidence and knowledge of socio-economic health determinants. Requires a current Annual Practising Certificate, CPR, and NZ driver licence; legal right to work in New Zealand and clear Police Vetting check mandatory. Required Qualifications
- Strong cultural confidence and competence, with whānau at the centre of care
- A sound understanding of the socio-economic and cultural determinants of health
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment
- In-depth knowledge of, and passion for, primary health care
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and interpersonal skills
- A current Annual Practising Certificate
- A CPR certificate
- Hold a full New Zealand driver licence
- Undergo pre-employment screening
- Complete and return a clear Police Vetting check
- Be legally able to work in New Zealand
