Job Summary
Manage both medical and surgical patients with obesity through comprehensive care, including therapeutic and diagnostic assessments, medication prescriptions, and patient education. Track and coach patient progress through pre- and post-operative periods while interpreting diagnostic tests and following ordered labs. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team and experienced bariatric surgeons in a full-time, Monday-through-Friday schedule from 8 to 5 with no call.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to provide excellent patient care by evaluating, tracking, and coaching patient progress through pre and post-operative period, weight management plans, and following ordered labs, tests and studies
- Strong decision-making ability to function in a collaborative care model
- Current, unrestricted Arizona license (or ability to obtain)
- Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substances

- Experience in Obesity Medicine or Endocrinology
