Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner needed to provide primary and acute care in homes, ALF's and ILF's within the Sumter service area, with a salary-based compensation and potential monthly bonus. Roles include conducting comprehensive patient assessments, diagnosing and treating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans (including prescribing medications), educating patients and families, and coordinating with other healthcare providers. Responsibilities span hospitals, clinics, private practices, care facilities, and virtual visits. Shifts available include a 12-hour, 7 days on/7 days off schedule and an 8-hour Monday–Friday schedule, in a full-time urgent care setting. Requires Master's or Doctorate in Nursing, SC NP licensure, NP specialty certification, strong clinical and communication skills, EMR proficiency, and ability to work both independently and within a team. Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in SC
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in a specialty area (e.g., Family, Adult-Gerontology, Pediatrics)
- 2 years of experience preferred but not required
- Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other healthcare technology
- CPR certification and other relevant certifications as required
