Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner (NP) position at Sea Mar Community Health Centers to provide primary medical care as part of a care team; participate in preventive health programs (immunization, disease detection, disease prevention); prescribe medications within state-authorized scope; refer patients to specialists when needed; collaborate with Clinical Director and Medical Director to improve patient care; engage in education programs for patients and communities; bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing (ARNP)
- Licensed as Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in Washington
- Board certification by appropriate nursing certification board (e.g., PNCB, FPNCB)
- DEA certificate required if prescribing controlled substances
- Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR within 90 days of hire and maintained thereafter
- Notations for prescriptive authority on license
