Job Summary
Coordinate clinical management of patients with aortic stenosis requiring assessment for Transcatheter Aortic Valve Interventions (TAVI) or Surgical Aortic Valve Replacement (SAVR), and provide post-procedural care and follow-up. Deliver clinical care to structural heart patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings while collaborating with patients, family members, and healthcare providers. Enhance nursing practice by developing, implementing, and evaluating best practices alongside the Patient Care Manager, Clinical Educator, and Advanced Practice Nurse. This temporary full-time role at Sunnybrook's Schulich Heart Centre supports the TAVI Program's mission to improve patient wellness through advanced practice, research, and education.
Required Qualifications
- Current College of Nurses of Ontario Certificate of Competence
- Master's degree with Nurse Practitioner Certification
- Current B.C.L.S.
- Membership in R.N.A.O.
- Previous experience as a Nurse Practitioner
