Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive new patient evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans for rheumatology patients. Perform joint aspirations/injections, interpret imaging, and order appropriate lab monitoring. Initiate and titrate DMARDs, biologics, and small-molecule therapies while educating patients on disease management and infusion protocols. Collaborate with referring primary care physicians, orthopedists, and pain management specialists. Requires current Illinois NP license, FNP board certification, and 1–2 years of experience. Full-time, days shift in Chicago and Evanston.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Illinois
- Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
- Minimum of 1–2 years of NP experience
- Strong clinical judgment
- Communication skills
- Patient education skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
