Job Summary
Provide specialized Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R)/Physiatry services as a rehab consultant at a designated skilled nursing facility or post-acute rehab center. Collaborate with PCP teams to manage conditions common in SNFs such as CVA, progressive neurological conditions, and postoperative orthopedic surgeries. Work alongside PT, OT, and SLP teams to improve patient function and quality of life, while following therapy patients to track their progress. Assess and collaborate on the management of barriers to therapy including joint or neuropathic pain, spasticity, neurogenic bowel, and neurogenic bladder. Represent CRC in your facility through strong clinical leadership and collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team, and attend multidisciplinary meetings to bridge the gap between therapy and internal medicine. This 40-hour, W-2 role offers autonomy, flexibility, and no on-call obligations.
Required Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner/APRN/Physician Assistant License
- Washington License
- Ability to work in the U.S.
- 40 hours/week
- 8-hour shift
- 5-day work week
- Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work
