Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner (Fixed-term, Part-time 28 hours/week) to cover parental leave across the Grampians region, providing specialist palliative care assessment and management to patients and their families. Responsibilities include development, delivery, and evaluation of specialist palliative care services; support for acute and sub-acute inpatient services and community clients; engagement in education, research, leadership, and clinical consultation to enhance regional palliative care services.
Required Qualifications
- AHPRA Registered Nurse with Nurse Practitioner endorsement
- Relevant experience in palliative care
- Commitment to apply for provider and prescriber numbers relevant to GH
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within the interdisciplinary team
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education in palliative care
- Current drivers licence
