Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, diagnose acute illnesses and minor injuries, and prescribe medications within Washington State ARNP scope of practice. Independently manage preventive healthcare needs while ordering diagnostic tests, maintaining accurate electronic medical records, and ensuring HIPAA compliance. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Perform duties in a fast-paced Quick Care Clinic environment with a 4-day, 10-hour schedule including Saturday and/or Sunday. Join Quinault Community Health's Federally Qualified Health Center to serve the Olympic Peninsula community.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in good standing with the State of Washington
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills
- Knowledge of current primary care and urgent care practices
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
- Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
- Commitment to providing compassionate, culturally responsive patient care
- Valid Washington State Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license
- Valid Washington State Registered Nurse license
- Valid Washington State Driver's License
- Must be insurable under the organization's vehicle insurance policy
- Candidates must be able to safely perform patient assessments, operate standard medical and office equipment, and occasionally lift or move equipment and supplies consistent with patient care responsibilities
Desired Qualifications
- One to three years of experience in Primary Care, Quick Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Medicine
- Experience working in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or rural healthcare setting
