Job Summary
Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments, evaluations, and follow-up care while diagnosing and managing a variety of pulmonology conditions. Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with facility nursing teams to improve patient outcomes and reduce hospital readmissions. Provide education to patients and staff, maintain accurate clinical documentation in EMR systems, and handle Medicaid/Medicare insurance verifications. This role supports geographically clustered facilities in Brooklyn, Queens, and Nassau County with flexible scheduling, offering 1–3 days per week seeing approximately 25 patients daily. Full-Time or Part-Time 1099 positions are available for board-certified providers with active NY licenses and 2+ years of focused pulmonology experience.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician
- Active New York State NP/PA/MD license
- Current DEA License
- Minimum 2+ years of experience on focused pulmonology care and treatment
- Strong knowledge of urological protocols and treatment approaches
