Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner - Psychiatry (Reproductive Health) provides comprehensive psychiatric services to maternal health patients (pregnant and postpartum) and young adults with acute and chronic mental health conditions; hybrid setting with some in-person clinic attendance and virtual encounters in Newport Beach/Irvine, CA. Responsibilities include psychiatric evaluations, developmental histories, mental status exams, diagnoses, prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver family-centered care for reproductive-health patients.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Current California NP Medical License
- DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate (CSRC)
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Certification in Psychiatry
