Nurse Practitioner - Psychiatric

Conduct patient rounds and manage psychiatric care across Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care, Assisted Living, and Independent Living settings. Collaborate with attending physicians, specialists, and facility staff to coordinate comprehensive care, assess mental health needs, and perform physical exams. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and develop therapeutic care plans for residents. Educate patients and families on medications, care plans, and preventive practices while addressing acute psychiatric and medical needs. Requires ANCC PMHNP certification, active DEA license, BLS and ACLS certification, and state licensure.
