Job Summary
Conduct patient rounds and manage psychiatric care across Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care, Assisted Living, and Independent Living settings. Partner with attending physicians and facility staff to assess mental health needs, perform physical exams, and order diagnostic tests. Prescribe medications, administer treatments, and develop therapeutic care plans for residents and families. Educate patients and caregivers on preventive practices while collaborating on acute psychiatric and medical needs. Requires ANCC PMHNP certification, DEA license, BLS/ACLS, and state licensure. Includes $10k sign-on bonus, unlimited earning potential, and quality incentives tied to patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- ANCC certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Active DEA license
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice
- Valid driver's license
- Current auto insurance
- Acceptable driving record
