Job Summary
Join Gary and Mary West PACE as a Nurse Practitioner providing primary care to elderly participants in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. Requires RN license and NP certification, with at least 2 years of experience in geriatric care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- RN State License
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority
- Valid DEA
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and (CPR) training
- Current driver's license and proof of auto insurance
- Minimum of 2 years working with the frail or elderly
Desired Qualifications
- Current knowledge of chronic care/geriatric issues and best practices
- Working knowledge of PACE regulations preferred
- Excellent clinical, organizational, and communication skills
Additional Requirements
- Medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations before having direct participant contact
- Successful pre-employment drug screen, background check, and physical assessment
