Job Summary
Conduct daily medical assessments, monitor vitals, and manage medications for eating disorder patients across PHP, IOP, and residential levels. Perform specimen collection, draw blood, interpret lab results, and address patient inquiries while collaborating with psychiatry, nursing, and therapists. Complete history and physicals for new admissions, prescribe medications, and provide patient education on side effects. Maintain medication exam rooms, ensure infection control compliance, and accurately document treatment plans and progress notes. Requires Colorado APN licensure and RXN authority within 60 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Practice Registration (APN) in the state of Colorado within 60 days of hire
- RXN prescriptive authority within 60 days of hire
- CPR Certification within 90 days of hire
- Minimum of beginner skills in Microsoft Office suite
- Must be able to efficiently learn and effectively work within an electronic medical records system
- Must be able to efficiently learn and effectively work within various software products
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds rarely
Desired Qualifications
- Experience treating patients with eating disorders
- Good oral and written communication skills
