Job Summary
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides direct patient clinical care in an ambulatory setting with a focus on wellness promotion and illness prevention across all life stages. Responsibilities include health maintenance exams, prenatal care, management of acute minor illnesses and stable chronic conditions, and collaboration with physicians for follow-up care. The NP will participate in performance improvement projects, maintain documentation for continuity of care, and complete all required professional education to maintain licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies, Health Science, or Medical Science
- 2-4 years of work-related experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Current state license as a Registered Nurse
- Current state certification as a Physician Assistant – Certified (PA-C)
- Current valid driver’s license with proof of minimum automobile insurance
Desired Qualifications
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
